Moon Cycling + Prosperity

Alignment
It takes our moon 29.5 days to complete one cycle, from new moon to new moon. Throughout this monthly journey, the moon pushes and pulls the tides, as well as our own energies and human nature. The moon governs the deepest parts of our soul – emotions, desires, and the subconscious mind – and encourages us to go inward. By aligning our personal relationship with the moon and its waxing and waning phases, we can learn to make the most of each cycle’s unique energies.
The Moon Cycles
For those who don’t know, “moon cycles” or “lunar cycles” refer to the moon’s orbit around Earth and the 8 different phases it goes through on its journey. Unlike the other planets in our solar system, the moon revolves around us. Meaning that each stage in its evolution comes with its own energy that influences our inner world and the world around us. Tapping into the lunar phases, we can harness this transformative power and manifest an abundant, soulful life.
How to Work with the Cycles
Set clear intentions
The first and darkest phase of the lunar cycle, the New Moon, is all about new beginnings and possibilities. This is the time to set clear intentions for the month ahead and feel the emotions that arise
with every part of your being. Start a New Moon ritual you can turn to monthly, where you get crystal clear on your goals and intentions (yes, you can and should use actual crystals here).
As the moon cycle shifts, the Waxing Crescent Moon takes center stage. This is the transition between the dreaming phase and the action phase of your manifestations. We’re still at the beginning here—so it’s actually an ideal time to further meditate, journal and visualize those desires, making space for them in your energetic field.
Just as you’ve set your intentions during the New Moon, don’t forget to circle back to them once the Full Moon lights the sky. The moon is at its brightest and fullest here and will bring everything to light. For us, it serves as a reminder that we’re working hard toward our goals, and our manifestations are getting closer and closer.
During the Full Moon, you’ll want to reassess the direction of your vision and make any tweaks, if necessary. This is the time to light your Success Affirmation Candle, clearing the path to success and removing any setbacks. Reminder: You have the power to overcome any challenges and change for the better.
Phases: New Moon (1), Waxing Crescent Moon (2), Full Moon (5)
Release what no longer serves you
To fully manifest your deepest desires, you need to release any fears, old patterns and limiting beliefs holding you back. Only half of the moon is illuminated during the First Quarter phase, bringing both brightness and darkness. This is the time to move past roadblocks that have inhibited you before while still looking forward to the future. Tools like the Papier Wellness Journal are a must from this phase onwards. Use the First Quarter moon to journal, move your body, and do any shadow work to set the foundation for the rest of the cycle.
After the First Quarter comes the Waxing Gibbous. By this point in the cycle, the moon’s light and energy are expanding—so take this as a positive sign to be, well, positive! In your journal, write down daily affirmations that boost your trust and confidence in the process.
One of the last phases of the moon cycle, the Third Quarter, will be your final push toward achieving your manifestations. Do one final sweep of anything that no longer serves you—whether that’s a toxic relationship, bad habit, or closet cleanout you’ve been pushing off. Reach for clear quartz and your journal to aid in clear thinking and positive vibes.

Practice gratitude
After the height of the Full Moon, the Waning Gibbous marks the second half of the moon’s cycle. This is the moment you want to dive into deep gratitude. (Again, reach for your Wellness Journal to thoughtfully record your appreciations.) Dedicate pages to reflect on your journey, growth and the influence others have made along the way.
Phase: Waning Gibbous (6)
Protect your newly cleansed energy
You’re finally here. The Waning Crescent, the last phase of the cycle, returns the moon to its tiny sliver. Now that you’ve completed the cycle, it’s time to rest and hide from the world a bit. Enjoy a spiritual moon bath ritual with herbs and crystals and allow yourself to find solace.
At the end of each cycle, you always want to safeguard yourself and your intentions from negative energy imposed on you, using tools like jewelry and crystals. Wear your Karma and Luck Clear Quartz Evil Eye Necklace to protect your newly cleansed energy as you reflect upon the past moon cycle and slowly dream about the next.
