Wait, Define Hot Girl Again…

Let’s be clear: Nothing is better than waking up in the morning feeling energized, refreshed and as light as a feather before going through your day with complete and utter confidence on level 10 because you know you are ‘that girl.’ But let - us - be fooled - not, being that girl isn’t exclusively about an exterior appearances: It has a lot more to do with authenticity and inner peace. Being that girl is continuously illuminating positive, glowing energy that lifts your spirits and those of everyone around you. It’s about experiencing everything through a fresh, loving perspective free of toxicity. What once brought heavy waves of emotion is now brushed off thanks to the one simple choice to be the best version of yourself and nothing less.

What used to be hot girl (bleep) has now taken a turn—for the better, in our opinion (no offense to the OG Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan days). No longer are we ‘hitting the clurbs,’ drinking our heads off and hungover every weekend or wasting precious days in bed thinking about the (bleep) boys who don’t deserve us. We’re now looking inward, realizing our self-worth and knowing what we offer to the world (aka everything). The world would quite literally fall apart without us women—and that’s not an exaggeration. Long story short, being a self-appointed wellness girlie comes down to taking care of yourself from the inside out and not putting yourself on hold to tend to everything else first. It’s spiritual well-being, it’s skincare, it’s hair care, it’s nutrition, it’s intention setting and expanding our creativity. Wellness is about achieving our goals but also about relaxing and reflecting, leaning into quiet self-love time before we express our unique gifts with the world around us.

If you’re just diving into the world of wellness and self-care, there’s no better place than to start with journaling. It’s a simple, time (and cost) effective practice that allows you to get clear, set intentions, and swim in the oceans of your inner world.
